Emmaus Main Street Manager
Join us for ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration on Wednesday July 13 at 187-191 Main St., Emmaus
Robert Nice, the co-owner the recently renovated professional building located at 187-191 Main St., in Emmaus, has a lot to celebrate these days and he wants his Emmaus friends and neighbors to join in on the fun.
Nice, who owns the building along with George McKee, says the available space in the historic three-floor structure is almost completely occupied and he plans to commemorate this important event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Emmaus Main Street Partners. The ceremony is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on July 13.
“To me it is a neat old historic building that we have brought back to life, initially a furniture manufacturer and coffin maker,” Nice says. The gentlemen who work with myself and my wife, we love to restore old buildings.
“We just want to express appreciation to town fathers who helped to make it happen. Emmaus is just a neat town. We wanted to preserve what we had and make it into something that would work well for the community,” he says.
Attendees at the ribbon-cutting will be treated to hors d’oeuvres by 187 Rue Principale, one of the buildings tenants. Other tenants include the Emmaus Main Street Partners, the Sanctuary for Healing Hands, State Rep. Justin Simmons, and Sayre Design. Nice has asked his tenants to have their space open for guests to take a look at during the ribbon-cutting celebration.
“We just want to welcome everybody,” Nice says. “We want people to be able to come in look around and have a good time while they enjoy some light refreshments, tour through the building and ask questions.”
