Bethlehem, PA– The meritorious work of a nonprofit is often unassuming, but in the case of VALOR Clinic Foundation it is certainly not going unnoticed. After careful consideration amongst a very deserving pool of applicants, the honorable organization has been selected as the winner of Imagevolution’s 2013 Giving Back Design Grant.
For one year, VALOR (Veterans Assisted Living Out Reach) will receive up to $10,000 worth of marketing and design services aimed at complete brand revitalization, and increased recognition of the good work of the organization throughout the community and beyond. The organization can also expect stronger brand positioning; consistent visual communications; and a solid foundation for future marketing efforts.
VALOR’s presentation particularly touched the ladies of Imagevolution. “Our hearts were warmed by the crucial and rewarding nature of their work, and we felt inclined and privileged to reward them in the same such way.”
VALOR’s mission is to assist the nation’s Veterans suffering from the visible and invisible wounds related to their service. The most critical issues include access to health care, homelessness, unemployment, suicide and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
To combat such challenges, VALOR seeks to provide a program that blends counseling, self-awareness and understanding of others as a means to achieve a well adjusted life. They also aim to build community awareness of the aforementioned challenges, and are currently conducting a $20m capital campaign to rectify these and other issues. “There could not be a better time to help this venerable organization in need.”
The aspiration of the Design Grant is to raise the standard of design excellence and marketing collateral in nonprofit organizations. An organization’s brand is an important asset to any organization. It shapes the way donors, clients and others perceive the value the organization brings to the community.
The Design Grant also serves as a perfect outlet for the marketing experts of Imagevolution to make a difference and give back to the community. They believe it is their personal and corporate responsibility to help address the critical issues that affect society.
The team is especially proud of the creative work they completed for the 2011 Design Grantee, The Gertrude B. Fox Environmental Center at Illick’s Mill in Bethlehem, PA, for which they won a 2012 Silver ADDY® Award. The ADDY® Awards Competition, conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), is the advertising industry’s largest competition for creative excellence.
Other Imagevolution Design Grantees include: Purple Ribbon Council, Historic Bethlehem Partnership, Northeast Ministry and The Center for Animal Health and Welfare. “We are thrilled to add VALOR to this reputable list and are excited to provide our own service to the nation’s veterans in the year to come.”
